PHOENIX – FORTUNE Magazine unveiled that global technology distributor Avnet, Inc.(NYSE:AVT) ranked No. 108 on the 2015 FORTUNE 500 list of largest U.S. companies based on the company’s $27.5 billion in sales in fiscal year 2014. Avnet improved its ranking on the list, moving up from No. 117 in 2014. In addition, Avnet was recently recognized byFORTUNE on its “World’s Most Admired Companies” list in the Wholesaler: Electronics category for the ninth year in a row.
